How does the world clock work?

Each city is mapped to an IANA time zone identifier (e.g., America/New_York, Asia/Tokyo) and rendered using the browser's Intl.DateTimeFormat. The clock automatically handles daylight saving time transitions and updates every second.

Common uses

  • Remote teams — see when colleagues are awake.
  • Travel — check destination time before calls.
  • Trading — track market open/close in major exchanges.
  • Family abroad — pick a good moment to call.
